Aesthetica Visual Holiday Cards

With so much focus on digital design in the day-to-day, an annual holiday card is a great way to end the year with a cool printed piece that gets sent to family, friends, and clients.

2019’s card celebrates Janus - the Roman God of new beginnings, and features a photo collage of original imagery captured earlier this year in Japan. A moody color palette of dark blues and greens is contrasted with neon orange type treatments and illustrated graphic elements.

For 2017, a single sheet of tabloid sized paper was utilized to create an expandable holiday greeting card, featuring different expressions of joy on 6 interior panels, and a seamless full bleed print on the reverse. The fully unfolded print can be hung as a poster or re-used as gift wrap.

2016 was a super busy year and this greeting card aims to capture that feeling of holiday-inspired chaos that takes place every year around December. Original illustrations on the front, and some encouraging(?) reminders about enjoying the Holidaze on the reverse, are all tied together with a slightly psychedelic color palette.
