 Bespoke logo suite and brand identity for Lucid Products, a San Francisco-based architectural firm. With a focus on privacy and design, the Lucid Glass line was developed as a first of its kind, digital glass product with the unique ability to turn from fully translucent to opaque at the press of a button. Used primarily in high-end, luxury commercial and residential spaces, the brand identity was created to feel elevated but approachable.

The primary logo combines custom rounded type with a hand-rendered “L” icon, recreating a simplified illustration of the product from a side-view. Through its squared off top housing an inverted panel of glass, and ending in a curve representing the electrical cord component, this single-line icon works just as well as part of the word mark as it does as a monogram, housed in an arch-shaped window.

 

Printed collateral brings these elements together, with a hand-painted gradient landscape, and featured use of the monogram treatment in multiple color applications. Also shown are sample product cards for the first two color-ways - Slate and Quartz.

 

An equally minimal but moody landing page was designed for a unique online experience, and all of the brand elements and guidelines were compiled into a 70-page brand guide for easy execution.
