 Paramount+’s Yellowjackets S3

For the Season 3 premiere of Showtime/Paramount+’s acclaimed thriller Yellowjackets, the cast and creators walked a green carpet in front of a dimensional press wall layered with live plants, moss, and wildflowers. Inspired by the opening “spring awakening” scene wherein the cast celebrates surviving the harsh winter, the custom installation brought the wilderness to life, pairing lush greenery and florals against a graphic backdrop of rocks and moss to create an immersive premiere experience.

Following the success of the Season 3 premiere, a similar red carpet experience was created for Yellowjackets’ finale screening at Paramount’s annual FYC event. Inspired by the final episode’s return to a bleak winter where the cast ventures into a mysterious cave for survival, the installation featured carved-foam rock formations and snow-covered foliage framing a scenic graphic of the cave entrance, transforming the red carpet into an immersive extension of the show’s dark, mysterious world.

After the screening, cast, creators, and FYC voters enjoyed custom-themed ice cream inspired by hidden Season 3 Easter egg character “Ozzie,” before exploring an immersive gallery featuring props and costumes from the season.

With the show’s creators (and Parmount Awards team) impressed by the Ozzie’s Ice Cream touchpoint, an expanded concept was pitched to Paramount+ as a traveling activation to promote the show’s critical success during awards season. Leveraging the season’s most talked about Easter egg - where viewers could call a secret phone number flashed on-screen to hear a mysterious 1996 audio recording from Ozzie, the idea became Ozzie’s Ice Cream Truck: a fully branded, antler-adorned ice cream truck featuring six sundaes inspired by key moments from the show. Making appearances at FYC screenings and farmers markets across Southern California, the truck quickly became a viral, fan-favorite experience.
